Under the direction of the Senior Pricing and Profitability Manager, and in coordination with Product Planning team members and KMC affiliates, this role is responsible for assisting with pricing and profitability analysis for all current and future products.  The purpose of this position is to ensure pricing proposals accurately account for competitive market actions as well as corporate sales and profit targets.  This includes the development and maintenance of competitive position and trend analysis materials.

Major Responsibilities

Priority 1st - 35%

Manage periodic and ad hoc analysis of Kia in-market competitiveness versus other models.

Prioirty 2nd - 30%

Provide analytical support for price, volume & trim mix recommendations and profitability analysis.

Priority 3rd - 20%

Manage port-installed option (PIO) pricing and analyze related cost and profitability.

Priority 4th - 15%

Coordinate scheduling of and adherence to product development milestones and pricing-related deadlines.


  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience required
Overall Experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in automotive pricing, product planning, marketing research, engineering or related field required

Other Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required domestically and/or internationally.
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Excellent PC skills: Advanced Excel & PowerPoint; knowledge of JATO, JD Power PIN, Motor Intelligence beneficial
