Job Description


Under the direction of the Director, Sales & Incentive Planning this position will be responsible for:
  • Development and communication of regional, district, and dealer sales objectives including adjustments made for special circumstances.
  • Tracking, analysis, and evaluation of volume target bonus programs.
  • Responsible for sales forecasting, analysis & reporting including securing business intelligence resources.
  • Interfacing with Product Planning for new model content, packaging, pricing and volume projections
  • Development and communication of regional, district, and dealer sales objectives.  Track and report on dealer accomplishment levels throughout the month.  Evaluation of dealer accomplishment of objectives to maximize the effectiveness of volume target bonus programs.
  • Manage a monthly KMA sales forecasting process to provide accurate estimates of current year sales by model and month.  Manage business intelligence tools and data services to ensure we have the best information to support sales forecasting and analysis of both sales and incentives.
  • Oversee daily sales reporting, weekly regional forecasts and management reports, short-term forecasting based on trends of credit application counts provided by DealerTrack.
  • Work closely with Product Planning for new models to influence content, packaging, pricing and volume projections early in the process before plans and targets are firmed up.
  • Provide support to departmental Director and Vice President, and COO in preparing sales-related presentations and in conducting ad-hoc projects and analyses.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred
Overall Related Experience:
  • Minimum of 15 years in the automotive industry, retail and or corporate.
Directly Related Experience:
  • A combination of 10+ years marketing, incentive planning, sales planning, product pricing, production planning or distribution required.
Position Requirements:
  • Occasional travel may be required domestically and/or internationally
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays
  • Perform other duties as assigned
