Job Description

The CPO Retail Support Manager will report directly to the Manager, CPO/Remarketing/ Branded Products and will manage CPO/Branded product programs, contracts and contests (currently with JM&A ). This position will also take an active role in CPO monthly incentive budgeting and program building with KMF.
  • Manage JM&A relationship to maximize CPO/Branded Product contract sales and penetration rate, by increasing dealer participation.  Assist in development of field contests, dealer contests and training courses in order to assist regions in attaining objectives. Coordinate ongoing Digital activies with Kia’s National Digital Team.  Communicate Digital results and opportunities to Corporate Staff, Regions and Dealers.  Manage and direct the CPO Retail Support Administrator. Daily Support for 4 Regional CPO Managers.
  • Take the lead in the department in the monthly CPO incentive program budgeting and proposals.  Negotiate with the KMA finance department and KMF for the most effective programs available to achieve the CPO annual sales target.
  • Manage and enhance Region relationships. Responsibilities include working with regions to increase dealer engagement in CPO and branded contract sales.
  • Work with Endemic’s (Kelly Blue Book, Autotrader, Cargurus, Carfax and SiriusXM) and other approved vendors to maximize value in the current contracts in place.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent job experience in related field. 
Overall Related Experience:
  • Minimum of seven (7) years automotive retail, wholesale or consultancy experience, or equivalent in new & used retail operations and/or business management fields. 
Directly Related Experience:
  • Field Experience Preferred.
  • New & Used Retail experience particularly in CPO and F&I is required or equivalent OEM experience.
  • Vendor relations experience required.
Other Requirements:
  • 25% travel may be required domestically and/or internationally.
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
