Job Description

SUMMARY:
  • Responsible for developing the warranty materials for fleets, ports, part managers, new and existing Kia dealers including conducting webinars on the use of WebLTS, WebDCS , and provide support for the EWR (Early Warning Reporting) initiative.
  • Manage internal training for the regions, DPSM’s, and other KMA departments) and providing warranty material updates including KU warranty administrator quizzes.
  • Responsible for monthly warranty operation reports that track and monitor dealer warranty KPI and the processing of other warranty projects (labor rate requests , SPPM acknowledgment forms, tracking market averages, dealer training accomplishment etc).
  • Responsible for updating warranty publications on Kdealer, WebLTS and providing timely implementation of warranty publications for New Model support including SPPM, WCPM, Warranty Bulletins and Warranty Information Manual.
  • Responsible for managing the daily warranty support calls and support cases providing assistance for dealer warranty inquiries.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Handle dealer, port, fleet and DPSM cases related to warranty claims procedures and Kia policy issues.
  • Develop, review, and participate in warranty training webinars conducted monthly. Track dealer participation and assemble a training exit report for dealer recommendations and training comments identifying improvements actions needed.
  • Review, validate and process manual claims requests, labor time requests, dealer labor rates, MPR appeals and other dealer or DPSM requests.
  • Draft publication updates for warranty manuals, bulletins and training materials. Maintains reports.
  • Establish desk reference  materials for all facets of Warranty Operations Group functions (i.e., Help Desk, Dealer Claims Adjusting, Publications, Training, Reporting).
  • Misc. task as assigned by Warranty management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.    
OVERALL RELATED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with dealership service department operations.
DIRECTLY RELATED EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 1-3 years National Warranty Department experience with distributor or manufacture.
  • General knowledge of automotive components, systems and operations.
  • Some supervisory experience required.
SKILLS:
  • Must be able to guide and collaborate with team members.
  • Must be familiar with AS400 system, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
